We are grateful you have found this space and are honored to be part of your journey.
If you’ve been widowed for more than a day, you’ve probably heard another widow say, “Welcome to the worst club in the world.” And honestly, it truly is.
This space was created out of a deep passion to help people moving through the journey of loss. Because the truth is, almost nobody feels prepared for this. We are left unsure of where to turn, overwhelmed by emotions we do not recognize, and often feeling incredibly alone.
When I first became widowed, my world felt like constant chaos wrapped in numbness and fog. I was surviving minute by minute, trying to understand who I was and how I was supposed to move forward in a life I never would have chosen. It wasn't until I found a community, that I truly started to heal.
Here, you will find one-on-one grief coaching, resources, affirmations, and honest conversations about grief and widowhood. There is no timeline for grief. No deadline for healing. No “right” way to carry loss.
Whether this is your first day or your ten-thousandth, there is space for you here.
What is grief coaching?
At its core, it’s a conversation.
At The Grief and Growth Experience, it means connecting with somebody who has also lost their spouse. Somebody who understands the chaos, the loneliness, the anger, the numbness, and the strange reality of rebuilding a life after loss. I am also a certified Grief Coach, but more than anything, I am somebody who gets it.
Sometimes grief coaching is having somebody truly listen.
Sometimes it is gently helping you see things you cannot see in the middle of the fog.
Sometimes it is simply having a safe space to be honest about the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of grief that do not always feel safe to share with family or friends.
If talking with somebody, or finding a sense of community and understanding, feels important to you, I invite you to schedule a free connection call to see if this space feels like a good fit for your needs.
Important: The Grief and Growth Experience is not a replacement for clinical mental health care. If you are in crisis, feeling suicidal, or needing clinical support, please call or text 988, contact your physician, or reach out to a licensed mental health professional.
Let’s chat and see if we are a good fit. The connection call takes about 30 minutes and is simply a chance for us to talk and see what support might look like for you.
There is absolutely no pressure to continue with one-on-one coaching afterward. That is a deeply personal decision, and one I will always respect.
This space is not about sales tactics or convincing people to sign up for something they do not want. That's just not what it's about for me. My passion is community, connection, and helping widows feel supported in whatever way makes sense for them.
We can also talk honestly about barriers that come up, whether they are emotional, scheduling-related, financial, or even concerns about how other people may respond to your grief journey.
I hope to hear from you soon.
